Lowestoft Sixth Form College is a very special place: we support and inspire each of our students to excel. We treat everyone as an individual. The evidence of our collective success is in our excellent track record: Ofsted’s Inspection Database 2017 – recorded our student achievement as significantly above the national average and most recently, the 2017 Department for Education Performance Tables highlight our exceptional student results in the top 12% in the country.
We want to do even better for our students and community. We have ambitious plans.
This is why we are very pleased that the recent Government review of post 16 education supported strongly our current partnership working with East Coast College. We will look to strengthen our partnership further over the next academic year and will keep our community informed of progress. We will make sure we collect and listen to your feedback. We believe that working together, whilst maintaining our sixth form college ethos, our values and aspirations, we will be better able to weather future economic challenges and provide a really enriched student experience – more course choices and combinations, many more opportunities.
Like our local schools who are members of the Hartismere, Inspiration and Ormiston Trust families we know that by working collaboratively, rather than in isolation, we can offer so much more for our students and to our community.
