Lowestoft Sixth Form College STEM results are exceptional. (2017 70% of A level Maths students achieved A*/A/B & 86% of Physics students achieved A*/A/B). Our recent ALPs report (value added data) shows our A levels Maths and Physics performance is in the top 1% in the country. Our A level Chemistry and Biology in the top 10%. We offer too alongside all the traditional STEM A levels, full time study programmes in Applied Science with two distinct pathways: Medical and Forensic. The progression from these courses to high calibre destinations is impressive. In 2017 28% of the BTEC cohort achieved the very best possible outcomes of D* D* D*/DDD and the value added for both Forensic and Medical courses is in the top 10% nationally.
